Shafaqna English– On Thursday, a SpaceX astronaut launch took off from Florida. On board were four crew members: two Americans, one Canadian, and one Russian. All of them are trained astronauts or cosmonauts. Their destination is the International Space Station. There, they will carry out a science mission. The mission focuses on how the human body performs in space. This includes studying the effects of microgravity on health.
The rocket that carried the crew was a two-stage Falcon 9. A Crew Dragon capsule sat on top of it. This capsule is fully autonomous and transported the four-person team. It is capable of docking with the space station on its own. The launch happened at the Cape Canaveral Space Force Station. The station is situated on Florida’s Atlantic Coast, a major site for space launches. It plays a key role in US space operations.
