Shafaqna English- Nearly 79,000 children have been displaced in western Yemen in less than a month, according to UNICEF.

The UN children’s agency said fighting in Taiz and Al Hudaydah provinces, the western coast and surrounding areas have forced families to flee once again, leaving behind their homes, belongings and livelihoods.

“Between 3 September – 30 September, more than 145,000 people have been displaced, including an estimated 79,000 children,” UNICEF said.
