Handwritten Quran of Imam Sadiq (as) in Reza library in Rampur, India

SHAFAQNA – Holy Quran written in the eighth century A.D. on paper is attributed to the penmanship of Imam Jafar Sadiq present in the Raza Library of Rampur (Uttar pradesh India).

The Rampur Raza Library  located in Rampur ,Uttar Pradesh, India is a repository of Indo-Islamic cultural heritage and a treasure-house of knowledge established in last decades 18th century, and built up by successive Nawabs of Rampur and now managed by Government of India.

Nawab Kalb Ali Khan (1865–1887) brought the manuscripts and Quran attributed to Imam Ali and Imam Jafar Sadiq (as) from Mecca after performing Hajj and represented it to the library.
