Forum Discusses Time Management in View of Quran

SHAFAQNA – A forum was held in Egypt to discuss the Holy Quran’s view on time management.

The Dar-ol-Kutub (library) of the city of Tanta, the capital of Gharbia governorate hosted the event, al-Dastoor daily reported.

Egyptian Islamic studies scholar Aman Qahif addressed the forum.

He referred to verse 2 of Surah al-Asr “Indeed, mankind is in loss,” and stressed the importance Islam and the Holy Quran attach to making the best use of time.

Qahif also discussed the concept of time in the Quran and Holy Prophet’s (PBUH) Sunnah.

He said the requirement that Muslims should perform prayers, Hajj and fasting in special times shows the importance of time and time management in Islam.
