SHAFAQNA – The Grand Ayatollah Sistani answered a question about using eye drops when fasting.
Question: Is fasting void (Batel) when eye drops are squeezed in the eye and through tear ducts enter the mouth? Sometimes the taste reaches the throat.
The Grand Ayatollah Sistani: Eye drops do not make fasting Batel, even if you taste them.
