Mr. Thaqeb explained: “The journey was very difficult, especially when we entered Iranian territory, because of its mountainous nature that was impeding our march, in addition to other major challenges such as access to food and drink, but thanks to the blessings of Imam al-Hussayn (peace be upon him) that were embracing us all the way long and we were able to overcome these obstacles and difficulties, and we were able to reach the holy city of Karbala and be honored to perform the Ziyarat of his holy shrine.”
Indicating: “We did not determine the number of hours on our journey, but we defined the distances we would walk, specifying points for resting. Our daily walked distance was between 25 and 30 kilometers.”
