German orientalist: Hussain showed cruelty and oppression are not sustainable

Marbin, German orientalist has a quote about Imam Hussain (a.s.) which says: “This great soldier of Islamic world showed the people of the world that cruelty and oppression are not sustainable, and no matter how strong the base of oppression is, it will fly away like a straw in front of truth and righteousness.”

Orientalism is a term used by art historians and literary and cultural studies scholars for the imitation or depiction of aspects in Middle Eastern, South Asian, and East Asian cultures (Eastern world). These depictions are usually done by writers, designers, and artists from the West. In particular, Orientalist painting, depicting more specifically the Middle East, was one of the many specialisms of 19th-century academic art, and the literature of Western countries took a similar interest in Oriental themes.
