“It should be a lesson for all regional leaders”

SHAFAQNA- The tree-day trip of Iranian President, Hassan Rouhani, was over on Wednesday. One of Rouhani’s most significant visits was his meeting with Iraq’s highest religious authority, Grand Ayatollah Ali al-Sistani in Najaf.

Arash Karami, a contributor to Al-Monitor, shared in twitter Rouhani’s photo in alleyway to visit Ayatollah Sistani and wrote: “It should be a lesson for all regional leaders that one of the most powerful single individuals in Iraq does not work inside a palace”.
