What did Sunni scholars say about the birth place of Imam Ali (AS)?

SHAFAQNA – Mohammad Sharif Khan Shirwani in the book of “Chot’hi Ketab” referred to the birth place of Imam Ali (AS) inside Ka’aba, and mentioned the crack which appeared in the wall of Ka’aba, and hearing the voice of invisible proclaimer [1]. Molawi Hafiz Hakim Zahir Ahmad Sahsawani in the book of “Zahirul Bashar” wrote: “When Fatimah decided to add another honour to the honours of Ka’aba, the wall of Ka’aba cracked and Fatimah Bintul Assad was invited inside Ka’aba, and Fatimah gave birth to her son Ali, inside Ka’aba [2].”

Allamah Hassan Ibn Amanullah Molawi Azim Abadi Hindi, in the book of “Tajhizul Jaish” described the birth of Imam Ali (AS) according to narration of “Basha’erul Mostafa” from Yazid Ibn Qoa’nab [3]. Dr Mohammad Shah Qaderi, the famous scholar from Lahore in the book of “Mesbahul Moqarrabeen” emphasized that Imam Ali (AS) was born inside Ka’aba and emphasized that Imam Ali’s (AS) mother was performing Tawaf when she felt the pain of giving birth. The wall of ka’aba cracked and Fatimah Bintul Assad was invited inside. Such an honour has not been given to anyone except Imam Ali (AS) [4].
