SHAFAQNA- Commander of the Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC), Major General Mohammad Ali Jafari, announced that in Mirjaveh hostage taking, first the abductors made the Iranian border guards unconscious, then kidnapped them.
This Iraninan Commander emphasized that Iran would seriously respond to the terrorist group.
According to Shafaqna, General Jafari explained the process of kidnapping 14 Iranian soldiers at the border of Mirjaveh. “Terrorists had attempts several times to occupy the post but they had failed,” he said, adding that “This time, the enemies infiltrate one of their forces to the borer post and abducted Iranian border guards by making them unconscious.”
On Monday evening, 14 border guards, including IRGC intelligence officers, were kidnapped by terrorists on province of Sistan-Baluchistan, southeastern border with Pakistan. Jaish al-Adl terrorist group claimed responsibility.
