What is absolute belief in God?
SHAFAQNA – A man came to the Prophet of Islam (PBUH) and said: O’ the Prophet of Allah (SWT), I have been destroyed. The Prophet (PBUH) said: Satan has come to you and asked you: Who created you? And you replied: God, then Satan asked: Who created God? That man said: That is right, the Prophet of Allah (SWT). Then the Prophet (PBUH) said: This is absolute belief [1]. In another narration, Imam Ali (AS) said: I have not seen a thing except that I saw God before it, after it, and with it [2]. In Dua Arafah Imam Hussain (AS) says to God: How can a thing be a reason for God’s existence when that thing needs God for its existence? How blind is the eye that cannot see that God is observing it [3]!
