According to IFS, British people are earning less than 2001

SHAFAQNA (Shia International News Association) – The to data published by the British Institute of Fiscal Studies (IFS) on Friday (30 Jan.), the wages were 1% lower at the end of last year than during the same period in 2001, and almost 5% lower than 2008.

“Almost all groups have seen real wages fall since the recession,” said Jonathan Cribb, the author of the IFS report.

“Between 2008 and 2014, there is a clear pattern across the age spectrum, with larger falls in earnings at younger ages,” he added.
