Schools evacuated around French town where massacre suspects holed up

SHAFAQNA – Several schools are being evacuated around the French town of Dammartin-en-Goele where the suspects in the massacre at Charlie Hebdo magazine are holed up, town authorities said Friday.

Some 200 children from a pre-school, primary school and high school “will be transported to the town gymnasium where their parents can collect them,” said a spokesperson for the town council.
