SHAFAQNA- US President Donald Trump will split Arab countries with an effort to make a new coalition, Raialyoum newspaper wrote in an analysis of US plan to make an ‘Arab NATO’ in the Middle East.
Arabian author and analyst Abdel Bari Atwan wrote in Raialyoum on
Saturday that “The Trump’s decision on creating a bloc including six
Persian Gulf countries as well as Egypt and Jordan is released,
pushing forward, and had great progress to form an Arab alliance
against Iran in order to preserve US interests in the Middle East.”
“Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia is the base of this new bloc which is
known as the Middle East Strategic Alliance (MESA) like NATO,” he
added.
The group is created in order to split Middle East countries and Arab world, geographically, racially and ethnically.
“This is a dangerous security- military coalition which has destructive effects on the region and has been selected to disintegrate the Arab nation in this era of its weakness,” the analyst wrote.
