SHAFAQNA – Custodian of Astan Quds Razavi said in the meeting with authorities of the Annual Meeting of Hazrat Ali Asghar (A) World Congress, “Arbaeen is exclusive to Imam Hussein (A) so that Ashura would not remain in Karbala and to be lost in history. This movement indicates that Ashura movement is alive forever.”
Sayyed Raeisi in the conference held in Quds auditorium of Central Library of Astan Quds on Friday evening, Aug 5, said, “The sacred bloods shed over the earth on Ashura was for reviving Islam and providing for establishment of Islamic sovereignty by Imam Mahdi (AJ).”
Referring to a part of Arbaeen pilgrimage prayer that considers Imam Hussain’s (A) blood as a cause of wiping ignorance off the society, he remarked, “The blood of Imam Hussein (A) has always wiped ignorance off the human societies throughout history and the current Islamic awakening and insightfulness of people across societies is a proof to this fact.”
Noting that although Ashura event lasted only half a day but displayed the most exalted human virtues as well as the nastiest malignity of the history in that short time, member of Assembly of Experts said, “In one hand Ashura exhibited the most terrifying crimes against humanity with its all dirty and ugly aspects a human being can commit and on the other hand, it displayed the most beautiful aspects of bravery, ethics, and manliness.”
“What the three-year-old daughter of Imam Hussein (A) told to the cut off head of her father in the ruins of Sham is seemingly a childish talk with the father but actually questions from the whole humankind over history when she asked: who made such a young child orphan? Who cut your veins?” said Grand Custodian of Astan Quds Razavi.
Pointing to the verse 19 of surah Hashr where God says: Be not as those who forgot God, and so He caused them to forget their souls; those — they are the ungodly, Hujjat al-Islam Raeisi added, “God almighty says in this verse: do not forget me as you will forget humanity and certainly this is true. How a man can kill a six-month-old baby in the bosom of his father? How a man can commit murder and tyranny against Palestinian children, women, and defenseless people? Did the massacres in Iraq, Syria and Yemen take place if there was any humanity and fear of God?”
Islamic revolution, strategic continuation of Ashura movement
Noting that continuation of Ashura movement necessitates awakening, Grand Custodian of Astan Quds Razavi said, “It seems that God’s providence dooms that the sacred blood of Imam Hussain (A) and his children and loyal companions should make the world awake and insightful, and hence we view the Islamic revolution and the consequences of the recent Islamic awakening as the strategic continuation of Ashura movement.”
Hujjat al-Islam Raeisi recounted the Ashura movement more vivacious than before and said, “In the big gathering of Arbaein, most people are aware of the likely life threats; however, the on foot population of Arbeen gathering increases year by year and this means the ever-increasing enlightening aspect of Ashura.”
He considered Imam Hussein’s (A) cry of ‘how far is lowliness’ as an everlasting echo throughout history and remarked, “Those who answer to Imam Hussein (A) are not restricted to Ashura or Karbala; this message goes beyond time and place. Today also the massage uttered by the Supreme Leader, as a descendant of Imam Hussain (A), and those who respond to it anywhere in Islamic countries is the call to help human generosity and pure living.”
“Those who exiled Sheikh Isa Qasem from his homeland in fact distort the human generosity and disdain one who has hoisted the flag of humanity”, said Grand Custodian of Astan Quds Razavi.
At the end, Hujjat al-Islam Raeisi introduced the House of Saud and House of Khalifa as the continuations of Yazidi flow in Ashura and said, “Today the strategic flow of the Household of the Apostle of God in Ashura has emerged in Islamic Iran and consequently in north of Africa, Yemen, Syria, Iraq, and many other countries and this is the same consequence of the enlightening sacred blood of Imam Hussain and Ali Asghar (A).”
