SHAFAQNA – The Germany international is not expected to play again this year after a scan revealed a knee ligament tear but his team-mate wants him back in action as soon as possible
Santi Cazorla has urged Mesut Ozil to make a swift recovery from his knee injury, insisting Arsenal need the Germany international.
The German national team have announced that Ozil has been ruled out for three months after an MRI scan revealed a ligament tear to his left knee.
Arsenal have subsequently insisted it is too early too say how long he will be sidelined for with Ozil on his way back to London for further assessment.
Ozil has made eight appearances for Arsenal so far this season, scoring once in the Premier League, but Cazorla wants him back in action as quickly as possible.

Striker Lukas Podolski, who is currently with the German national side ahead of their games against Poland and Republic of Ireland also Tweeted his support to Ozil.

The 25-year-old joins a growing list of injured players at the Emirates with key players such as Aaron Ramsey, Olivier Giroud and Mathieu Debuchy all currently sidelined.
