SHAFAQNA – Ayah 2, Surah Al-Anfaal says: Believers are those whose faith increase when God’s verses are recited to them. Ayah 124, Surah Al-Tawbah says: And when a verse is sent down, there is one amongst them who asks: Whose belief has been increased by this (Ayah)? But this will increase the belief of those who have believed and they will rejoice. Therefore according to the Quranic teachings, increase and decrease in belief is an obvious matter. So, in Ayah 136 of Surah Al-Nesa, Allah (SWT) orders the believers to believe; meaning to increase the levels of their belief.
