SHAFAQNA – The vast majority of Muslims in the UK feel loyal to Britain, though almost half believe Islamophobia makes being a Muslim in Britain difficult, a poll has found.

And the survey, which polled 1,000 Muslims from 26 January to 20 February, revealed that 95 percent of UK Muslims felt loyal to Britain, despite 46 percent feeling that prejudice against Islam made being a Muslim in Britain difficult.

Around 35 percent of the group polled also felt that most British people did not trust Muslims. 20 percent said they did not think Western liberal society could ever be compatible with Islam.
