SHAFAQNA (Shia International News Association) – There are various Ayahs in the holy Quran regarding the life of this world and the hereafter, for example Ayah 64 of Surah Al-Ankabut says: “What is this worldly life except an amusement and a game? Yet the final home will mean [real] living, if they only realised it.” Meaning, the life of this world and its enjoyments compared with the life of the hereafter is like a game and it is temporary. The real, pure and permanent life will be in the hereafter. The mentioned Ayah wants to draw the human’s attention and tell him/her that: You must target the life of the hereafter by using the temporary life of this world. This Ayah wants to say: The life of this world is really precious but when compared with the life of the hereafter is more or less worth nothing .
