Did Imam Ali (AS) help his family in their daily shopping?

SHAFAQNA – One day Imam Ali (AS) bought meat and put it in the shopping basket and was going towards his house. In the middle of the way, a person approached him and said: Let me carry your bag for you. Imam Ali (AS) said: No, it is more appropriate for a person who has a family to carry the shopping to his family [1]. In another occasion, Imam Ali (AS) said: If a person wants to carry something for his family, nothing will be deducted from his status (prestige, reputation) [2].
