Drunk off duty employee of Defence Department responsible for flying drone over White House

SHAFAQNA (Shia International News Association) – The New York Times reported that a drunk off duty employee of Department of Defence was responsible for flying a drone over White House.

A spokesman for the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) told the newspaper on Tuesday (27 Jan.) that the Secret Service had questioned a government employee the day before in connection with the drone incident.

The spokesman, Kerr said: “The employee self-reported the incident on Monday. The employee was off duty and is not involved in work related to drones or unmanned aerial vehicles in any capacity at NGA.”
