What is the duty of the children who are taken to Hajj pilgrimage by their parents? The Grand Ayatollah Sistani’s answer

SHAFAQNA – The Grand Ayatollah Sistani answered a question about children who are taken to Hajj pilgrimage by their parents.

Question: If the parents of a child make him/her to perform Omrah Tamatto’a, does it become Wajib for the child to make him/her to perform Hajj Tamatto’a; and if it is not Wajib, is it required from the child to perform Tawafal Nesa?

The Grand Ayatollah Sistani: If the child cannot distinguish between good and bad, it is not Wajib for him/her at all; and if the child can distinguish between good and bad, performing Tawafal Nesa and its Salaat should suffice.
