Earthquake shakes Mourmouri in Iran’s Ilam province

SHAFAQNA – An earthquake measuring 3.9 degrees on the open-ended Richter scale shook Mourmouri City in Iran’s eastern Ilam province Sunday night, local time.

The Seismography Center of the Geophysics Institute, affiliated to the University of Tehran, has registered the quake at 22:01:09 (01:31:09 GMT, Monday morning).

The geographical specifications of this earthquake were 32.62 degrees longitude and 47.80 degrees latitude, and its epicenter was 10 kilometers under the earth surface.

There is still no report on the probable losses of this mid-strong earthquake
