Eating Sahari after dawn due to error of eyes/the Grand Ayatollah Rouhani’s answer

SHAFAQNA – The Grand Ayatollah Seyyed Sadeq Rouhani answered a question about eating Sahari after dawn due to error of eyes.

Question: If by error of eyes a person imagined 5 o’clock as 4 o’clock and started eating Sahari and then realised that it had been after dawn, is his fasting correct?

The Grand Ayatollah Rouhani: The fasting is correct and there is no need to fast later on for that day.
