Enemies seeking different strategies to damage Muslims: Official

SHAFAQNA – A senior military official said on Thursday that enemies of the Muslim world have adopted different strategies to damage Muslims, especially by breaking their unity and sowing discord among them.

Deputy Commander of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) Brigadier General Hossein Salami made the remarks in a meeting with the visiting members of a delegation from Oman, currently in Tehran for talks on issues of mutual interests with senior Iranian officials. The delegation is led by head of Oman National Defense College Major General Salim bin Musallam Qattan.

Referring to Iran-Oman cordial relations, Deputy-Commander Salami said no negative point has ever existed in relations between the two nations.

He touched upon the significant geopolitical position of Iran and Oman as the two countries that are located in the two sides of the world’s most strategic energy waterway (The Strait of Hormuz).

The Sultanate of Oman is an Arab country in the southeastern coast of the Arabian Peninsula which shares marine borders with Iran and Pakistan.

According to Salami Tehran and Muscat enjoy a friendly relations based on mutual respect, unity and religious solidarity as well as good-neighboring policy and religious values.
