SHAFAQNA – A human being should use the materials and enjoyments of this world as much as needed, not more, otherwise will be in loss. Islamic teachings tell us that we must follow moderation, meaning enjoyments and utilisation of materials of this world must be within certain boundaries set by Halal living which will not cause hardship nor lead to lavishly extravagant lifestyle. The main point is that getting used to excessive enjoyments and materialism in this world will make it difficult for a human being at the time of passing away as well as causing deprivation from divine blessings in the hereafter and the Day of Judgment. Therefore, the right path is moderation and according to the need .
