gmanetwork.com/ Samsung adopting glass design for next Galaxy S release?

SHAFAQNA – Will Samsung’s flagship Galaxy S go from plastic to glass? Enthusiast site 9to5google.com cited a Korean-language report indicating Samsung’s Galaxy S6 will replace the plastic and removable battery with a glass build. Citing the Korean report, 9to5google said the rumored Galaxy S6 will sport “a glass back and glass bezels with metal sides/rims.” It added making the battery non-removable may lead to a “smooth and consistent design.”  The report also claimed that Samsung plans to have two variants of the Galaxy S6, one with a standard display and the other with a curved one. Earlier reports indicated that the S6 may have a touch-based fingerprint scanner, a qHD Super AMOLED display, and Android 5.0 Lollipop with TouchWiz. It would also use an Exynos 7420 or a Snapdragon 810 processor, 3GB RAM, and 32GB internal storage.  Joel Locsin/JST, GMA News
