SHAFAQNA – In Ayah 31 of Surah Al-e-Imran, Allah (SWT) says: “Say: If you love God, follow me, and then God will love you and forgives your sins, and God is all forgiving.” Hence, a person is loved by God when he/she follows God’s religion. Following and obeying the Prophet (PBUH) is the same as accepting the religion of Islam. So if there is no religion, love for God is meaningless. Therefore, religion is the cause of the divine love towards God’s servants.
