God’s guidance

SHAFAQNA (Shia International News Association) – Abdullah ibn Moqayrah narrated: I was a Waqefi, believing that there was no other Imam after Imam Musa Kazim (AS) and with this belief went to Hajj pilgrimage. When I reached Mecca, a doubt occurred in me about my religion and belief. I went to Ka’aba, next to the wall and said: My God, you are aware of my wishes and intentions, guide me to the best religion. As I was thinking, it occurred to me to visit Imam Reza (AS), so I left for Medina. When I reached Imam’s house, I told the housekeeper: Inform Imam that a man from Iraq is waiting for his permission to enter the house. Suddenly I heard Imam’s voice saying: Enter, Abdullah ibn Moqayrah, when Imam (AS) saw me said: Your prayers have been accepted by Allah (SWT) and you have been guided to the true religion. I said: I bear witness that you are the proof of God and trusted by all God’s servants [1].
