What did the Grand Ayatollah Sistani say about Hijab?

SHAFAQNA – The Grand Ayatollah Sistani expressed his opinion about the need for observing Hijab.

For God sake, for God sake, about observing Hijab, which is one of the most important points that Ahlul Bait (AS) even in the most difficult situation of Karbala, paid attention to, and themselves were the best of role models in this matter. They (Ahlul Bait (AS)) suffered from violation of sanctity more than any other thing. Therefore, it is the duty of all pilgrims and specially ladies to observe all the conditions for modesty in behaviour and type of clothes/cover, and personal appearance, and avoid anything which spoil these matters (like wearing tight clothes, and inappropriate mixing, and using inappropriate jewellery). In order to keep these ceremonies pure/clean from any inappropriate flaw, as far as possible observe the highest level of Hijab.
