SHAFAQNA- According to the website of the Islamic Culture and Relations Organization, the book is a collection of religious stories and poems written by Kazakh poets lauding the bravery and virtues of Imam Ali (AS).
The Ayvazov Faculty of Literature and Manuscripts of Kazakhstan’s Academy of Sciences cooperated in the publication of the book with the aim of disseminating the culture of Ahl-ul-Bayt (AS) in the region.
The 430-page book was one of the manuscripts preserved at the faculty and the modern Kazakh alphabet has been used in printing the new edition.
Islam is the largest religion practiced in Kazakhstan, as 70.2% of the country’s population is Muslim according to a 2009 national census.
