How important is the right of the believer in Islam?

SHAFAQNA – Aban ibn Taqlib narrated: I was performing Tawaf (going around the Ka’aba) with Imam Sadeq (AS). A companion of mine came in front of me and wanted me to go with him to sort out a situation for him. I thought to myself it is not right to leave Imam (AS) in that situation and go with that man. Whilst I was performing Tawaf, he suddenly signaled again that he wanted me to go with him. Imam Sadeq (AS) saw him and asked: O’ Aban, that man wants you? I replied: Yes. Imam (AS) asked: Who is he? I replied: He is one of the followers.

Imam (AS) asked: Has he the same belief as you?  I replied: Yes. Imam (AS) said: Go to him, and I said: Shall I leave Tawaf? Imam (AS) replied: Yes. I asked: Even if it is Wajib Tawaf? Imam (AS) replied: Yes. Aban went to that man, and later on came back to see Imam Sadeq (AS) and said: Please inform me about the rights of the believer on another believer. Imam (AS) explained: O’ Aban, do not ask for that. I asked: Why?

I really want to know and I insist. Then, Imam Sadeq (AS) started explaining about the rights of the believer (which are very extensive and need to be studied separately in various Shia Islam sources). The main point in this narration is that, a believer always must pay attention to the rights of another believer even at the time of performing Wajib Tawaf. And another important point of this narration is that the more a believer is aware of these rights, the responsibility of upholding them is also increased [1].
