HRSC says, ISIS captured over 3000 Eizidi women

SHAFAQNA – The Human Rights Supreme Commission announced that the takfiri terrorists of so-called Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) have captured over 3000 Eizidi women as captive .

The member within the HRSC, Fadhil al-Gharawi stated, “Over 3000 women of the Eizidi Community are captured by the ISIS takfiri terrorists as captive where they brutally harass them.”

Al-Gharawi demanded International Community to aid these women and rescue them from takfiri terrorists of ISIS.

A 15-year-old girl who escaped from ISIS captivity has also revealed how she escaped ISIS militants by drugging and shooting two husbands who bought her as a slave.

The teenager, who has been kept anonymous to protect her family, was one of hundreds of women from the Eizidi sect who extremists kidnapped after overrunning their homes on Iraq’s Mount Sinjar.

The women and girls were trafficked to ISIS strongholds, where survivors say many were raped. The captives were said to include girls as young as five.

Several dozen Eizidi women kidnapped by ISIS have been taken from Iraq to Syria, forced to convert and sold into marriage to militants, an activist group says.

Eizidi women and children captured in Iraq by the ISIS have been given to its militants as booty of war, boasting it had revived slavery.  In the latest issue of its propaganda magazine ‘Dabiq’ the organization has admitted that it was holding and selling Eizidi as slaves.
