Hunger strike in New York city to denounce killing of Shia Muslims in Pakistan

SHAFAQNA – Muslim community of New York announces to start a hunger strike in support of Allama Jaffri over Shia killing in Pakistan.

Hunger Strike of Secretary General Majlis Wahdat Muslimeen Allama Raja Nasir Abbas Jaffri against the massacre of Ahle-Tashyyu people in Pakistan has entered into 14th day. To express solidarity and to condemn the massacre of Shia people in Pakistan, two day hunger strike has been announced in the American city of New York in front of Pakistani consulate.

In a statement released, it is said that to protest against the massacre of Ahle Tashayyu people in Parachinar, Dera Ismail Khan, Peshawar and Karachi and apathy of Nawaz government over this massacre, Shia community in New York will start hunger strike protest on May 27 and 28. The objective of hunger strike is to express solidarity with Allama Nasir Abbas.
