Imam Hassan Askari’s (AS) recommendations to his followers

SHAFAQNA – Imam Hassan Askari (AS) recommended to his followers: I recommend to you to be devout in your religion and try for the sake of God and tell the truth as well as being trustworthy towards people even if they are not good individuals. Lengthen your prostration and be good neighbours. Perform Salaat among other Islamic congregations and attend their burial ceremonies and pray on their dead bodies as well as visiting their ill ones and observe their rights.

Because when you are devout in your religion, truthful, trustworthy with good morality, they will say: He/she is a Shia Muslim and this will make me happy. Have Divine Piety, be our (Ahlul Bait (AS)) honour, not our embarrassment; direct all your friendship towards us (Ahlul Bait (AS)) and remove inappropriate things from us.

Because any good thing that is said about us, we belong to that and any bad thing said about us, we are not that. Our rights (the rights of Ahlul Bait (AS)) and our relationship to the Prophet (PBUH) are mentioned in the book of God (Quran) and Allah (SWT) has considered us as pure which no other individual can claim that unless he is lying.

Remember God a lot, remember death, recite Quran a lot and recite Salawat to the Prophet (PBUH) a lot because reciting Salawat to the Prophet of Allah (SWT) has ten benefits. Protect and memorize whatever I said to you, I will leave you in the protection of God and Salaam to all of you [1].
