In which conditions Salawat must not be recited loudly? The Grand Ayatollah Makarem’sFatwa

SHAFAQNA – The Grand Ayatollah Makarem Shirazi answered questions about conditions where reciting Salawat loudly is not recommended.

Question: When reciting Salawat in religious sites causes spiritual disruption for pilgrims; is this act allowed? What is the ruling when ladies recite Salawat in shrines of Ahlul Bait (AS) and non-Mahrams hear them?

The Grand Ayatollah Makarem: It is better to avoid reciting loud Salawat in these places which are mentioned in the question.
