Iran concerned over restrictions on Islamic rituals in Bahrain

SHAFAQNA- Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Marzieh Afkham on Monday expressed dissatisfaction over restrictions imposed in Bahrain on mourning ceremonies for Imam Hussein (AS).

Afkham  such measures do not help the confidence-building atmosphere between the country’s government and its nation and exacerbate the situation instead.

Shia Muslims across the world are holding mourning ceremonies to mark the martyrdom anniversary of Imam Hussein (AS).
