SHAFAQNA – Foreign Ministry Spokesman Bahram Qasemi on Saturday strongly condemned the “heineous and shameful” crime of terrorists against Shia pilgrims in Damascus.

While voicing sympathy with the Syrian government and nation and the Syrian and foreign survivors of the incident, Qasemi said, “Blind terrors, massacre and shed of blood of innocent people, including women and children, are the last resort of the disgraced and weak terrorists, who have lost their control following their repeated and humiliating defeats in various fields.”Qasemi’s condemnation follows suicide and terrorist attacks in Damascus on Saturday, which killed or injured tens of innocent people, especially pilgrims of the holy sites in Syrian capital. He said terrorists and their visible and invisible supporters do know quite well that they are subject to repeated failures, annihilation and undoubtedly full removal in the military camp, so they humiliatingly create such human catastrophes to stir peace and dialogue and continue ceasefire and materialize stability in Syria.
