SHAFAQNA – Ayatollah Mousavi Jazayeri, representative of Iranian Supreme leader in Khuzestan province, issued a statement on Tuesday in which he congratulated Grand Ayatollah al-Sistani, Shia source of emulation, on the recent recapture of Mosul from ISIS terrorists.

The text of the statement is as follows:
In the Name of Allah, the Most Compassionate, the Most Merciful
I congratulate your eminence on the great victory of Iraqi brave soldiers in recapturing the city of Mosul from ISIS terrorists after a long and difficult battle.
What makes us even more jubilant is the fact that this great victory was brought as a result of by Iraqis’ adherence to Shia sources of emulation and following your eminences’ fatwa (religious order) in fighting ISIS.
I pray to Allah Almighty for your Excellency’s health and success as well as the dignity of all Muslims.
