SHAFAQNA- Hundreds of Iraqi condemned Saudi coalition war crimes in Yemen.

Gathering in one of the main squares in Baghdad and carrying placards, they expressed solidarity with the oppressed people of Yemen.

They also urged governments and active bodies in humanitarian aid to pay attention to saving Yemenis from Saudis’ bombardment.

Iraqi protestors denounced international community silence against the crimes committed by Saudis and their allies in Yemen.

Saudi Arabia and a number of its regional allies launched a devastating military campaign against Yemen in March 2015, with the aim of bringing the government of Mansour Hadi back to power and crushing the country’s Houthi Ansarullah Movement.

Some 16,000 Yemenis have been killed and thousands more injured since the onset of the Saudi-led aggression, IRNA reported.
