IRIB/ Syria’s ‘so-called moderates’ kill kids

SHAFAQNA (Shia International News Association) – Syrian Prime Minister Wael Nader al-Halqi has decried support for the country’s “so-called moderate opposition” by the United States and its allies.

According to Press TV, Halqi made the remarks during a speech at the parliament in the capital Damascus on Sunday, saying the terrorists bombed an elementary school in the western city of Homs earlier this month.

The Syrian premier called the incident “the results of Washington’s support of terrorists that they (Washington and its allies) call moderate when they targeted Syria’s children in the blasts that hit Ikrima schools in Homs and arming kids by giving them money and fake religious arguments.”

Halqi also questioned the US’s true intent to lead a coalition for airstrikes against the ISIL positions in the country and neighboring Iraq.

The Syrian prime minister said “The coordination between the international coalition to fight the ISIL and the so-called moderate opposition that kills Syrians raises doubts about the coalition’s intention to find a political solution in Syria.”
