Is flexibility a good characteristic for believers?

SHAFAQNA – It is narrated from the Prophet of Islam (PBUH) who said: The condition of the believer is like a hyacinth that the quick wind moves it, sometimes it stands up and sometimes bends; but disbelievers are not flexible towards people, they are like hard trees (for example pine trees) that uproot against the hurricane of the events [1].

Therefore, having flexibility in a proper manner is one of the signs of the believers which help them to achieve their aims. Of course there is a clear difference between being flexible against the events and being flatterer and an opportunist.
