Is it allowed to immigrate to West? The Grand Ayatollah Sistani’s answers

SHAFAQNA – The Grand Ayatollah Sistani answered a question about immigration to West.

Question: I am a jobless youth, is it allowed to immigrate to West?

The Grand Ayatollah Sistani: Immigration to West is allowed according to three conditions:

  1. To make sure there is no danger of drowning and similar dangers like that.
  2. To make sure religion can be protected in there and doing religious duties is not stopped.
  3. To make sure immigration does not stop paying for Wajib payments in their own country like payment of expenses for wife and children.

Considering all those mentioned points, the Grand Ayatollah Sistani does not think that at the present time immigration for young people to be a proper act.
