SHAFAQNA – Sometimes wealth can bring prosperity to some individuals because they are always careful not to sacrifice their religious duties for the sake of the world and these type of people are applauded. But there are who sacrifice their hereafter to this world and this type of people are reproached as mentioned in Ayahs 20-21 of Surah Al-Qiyamah: “Indeed, how you love the fleeting world and you neglect the affairs of hereafter.”
Luqman told his child: My child, do not be occupied by the world in a way that it will harm your hereafter, and do not neglect the world in a way that for your expenses you become dependent on others . Therefore, the wealth which provides self-sufficiency for a person in the world and at the same time prevents neglecting the hereafter, is good.
