SHAFAQNA- In a statement, the Iraqi border guard command announced that an ISIS attack foiled on the border with Syria, Al-Iraq news reported. 
“ISIS terrorist group took advantage of the bad weather conditions and carried out an attack against border troops,” the command said.
The terrorist group carried out the attack on the border between Iraq and Syria in the city of AL-Ramadi, North of AL-Qaim area, according to the statement.
The ISIS intended to enter Iraqi territory, but Iraqi forces prevented them from moving forward, the statement emphasized.
