Jordan says: Syria’s neighbouring countries are not able to accept any more Syrian refugees

SHAFAQNA (Shia International News Association) – Alnashra News/In international seminar on Syrian refugees in Berlin, Jordan’s Foreign Minister referred to the need for schools, accomodation, medical equipment and said these are desperate needs of refugees. He added that his country have accepted more than 1.5 million of Syrian refugees but the neighbouring countries are not able to accept any more. The international seminar on Syrian refugees started on Tuesday (28 October 2014) on the invitation of Frank-Walter Steinmeier, the German Foreign Minister and more than 40 countries have taken part. According to the UN’s reports, more than 9 million of Syrian citizens need humanitarian help of which 6.5 million are inside the country and the rest are refugees.
