SHAFAQNA – In one of the letters which exist in Nahjul Balaghah, Seyyed Razi (RA) wrote that in the Jamal War, when Imam Ali (AS) departed from Medina towards Basra, Imam (AS) wrote a letter to people of Kufah, and invited them in the beginning of the letter, Imam Ali (AS) wrote that I have a past (history) at the time of the previous Caliphs; whatever people think about my past, whether I was oppressor or oppressed, rebellious or not, whatever it was, I am not discussing these, but today Muslims have sworn allegiance to me. Whoever wants to help me, can come, but I have one condition; come to me, if you see that I do right, help me; and if you see that I do wrong, criticize me, and protest, until I amend (the wrong deed) [1].
