Lebanon to complain to UN over Israel’s violation of its airspace

SHAFAQNA – Lebanon has declared it will lodge a complaint with the UN Security Council against Israel for violating the Lebanese airspace. Lebanon’s foreign minister is to address the Security Council in a protest over the issue. Israeli warplanes on Thursday crossed the Lebanese airspace and conducted an airstrike against a military site in Syria. The Syrian army said two soldiers were killed in the Israeli air raid. Syria also filed a complaint with the UN on Thursday. Damascus demanded the Security Council denounce Israel’s aggression and take action to prevent such attacks in the future. Syria also said Israeli attacks against the Arab country are meant to undermine the fight against terror groups and to support terrorism
