Manifestation of 40th Anniversary of the Islamic Revolution in Pakistan

SHAFAQNA- Pakistan is witnessing the commemoration of the 40th anniversary of the Islamic Revolution of Iran these days. Media of Pakistan refers to this event as a historical revolution in the world.
One of the billboards in Islamabad points to the 40th anniversary of the victory of the Islamic Revolution and there is also a statement on it referring to “70 Years of friendship and brotherhood between Iran and Pakistan.”
Moreover, Media of Pakistan reported that Iran begins marking 40th anniversary of the Islamic Revolution.
“Iran is marking the 40th anniversary of the Islamic Revolution and Iranian people are celebrating the Islamic Revolution in all the cities of this country.” the Urdu newspaper of Rawalpindi city, Jang reported.
Dunya News, a Pakistani news channel, in its special political program, spoke about the Islamic Revolution and the 40th anniversary of Iran’s independence.
The famous Pakistani investigative journalist, Kamran Khan was the host of this special program in Dunya News. In this program, he talked about the resistance of the Iranian people against the authoritarian regime which was supported by the Western powers, the leadership of Imam Khomeini (RA) for saving the country and the Iranian uprising against the Shah.
“In spite of sanctions, the Iranian people have been supporting the Revolution for forty years.” Kamran Khan stated.
The program was followed by a special documentary on the uprising of the people of Iran, popular movements against the Shah, the return of Imam Khomeini to Iran after 14 years, and the victory of the Iranian revolutionary movement against the Shah’s regime.
Simultaneous with the beginning of the Fajr decade, special ceremonies will be held by Iran culture houses in Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Peshawar, Lahore, Quetta and Karachi.
