Muslim organizations to hold protest tomorrow in DK District India

SHAFAQNA – The United Muslim Organisation DK District has decided to up the ante against the private school in the city where a 3-year-old LKG student was allegedly abused sexually by the school van driver on March 13.

The organization, alleging bias on the part of the authorities concerned in proceeding with the case against the school management for their role in the disturbing incident, has decided to hold a mammoth protest outside the DC office on Friday. Former mayor K Ashraf, who is the president of the organization told reporters that the management showed utter lack of sensitivity.
Instead of consoling the girl’s parents, they are now trying to show the family in bad light.
The reasons why the police still have not proceeded against the school management is an issue that is baffling the parents and other stakeholders, he said.
Observing that repeated attempts by the girl’s parents to lay their hands on the wound certificate did not materialize and simply went unheeded, Ashraf claimed.
On the other hand, the school management has not only obtained a copy, but is also involved in circulating it to parents of other students in the school.
“We have lodged a complaint with the police commissioner against the authorities of Lady Goschen Hospital and school authorities for making contents of the report public,” he said.
